Hours: Tuesday to Sunday 11AM-430PM from April to October. The boat tours last 45 minutes and depart every 30 minutes. Floating along the canals deepens your appreciation for Amersfoort's historical architecture. From May to September, tours are also offered on Mondays from 1-430PM.

De naam de Hof gaat terug op de middeleeuwse bisschoppelijke hof die gelegen was op een uitloper van de Utrechtse Heuvelrug waar de rivier de Eem aan de oostkant met een bocht omheen stroomde. [1] Deze bisschopshof wordt voor het eerst genoemd in 1203, in een bisschoppelijke oorkonde waaruit blijkt dat de hof in 1196 al bestond. [2]
